Augmented Reality Windshields.
Continental’s new DMD projection technology puts information right in a driver's line of sight
Lincoln is one of the first automakers to step closer to full augmented reality displays in vehicle windshields. Two of its models now have digital micro-mirror device (DMD) technology made by Continental, which projects bigger, clearer and more complex graphics. The technology is seen as a bridge between older heads-up display systems and forthcoming AR technology.
The system works in a similar way as modern digital cinema projectors. A picture generating unit produces an image which is enlarged and projected onto the windshield using a series of mirrors and lenses. The resulting image is much brighter than the previously common reflected LCD technology.
The benefits of the system are brighter graphics that can be clearly seen in daytime sunlight. Projecting information on the windshield keeps a driver’s eyes close to the road and reduces distractions from checking other in-car screens. This is particularly helpful with visual aids from the navigation system that can show alerts for intersection turns or highway exits.

Ciuc - Lumea Noua
On the occasion of Ciuc - New World launch, Ogilvy Romania asked us to create a choreographic show with 3D animations. Thus, in mid-May 2017, we were present in a new and less familiar setting, where we blended contemporary dance with what we do best.

MeetAlive: Room-Scale Omni-Directional Display System for Multi-User Content and Control Sharing.
MeetAlive: Room-Scale Omni-Directional Display System for Multi-User Content and Control Sharing
Andreas Rene Fender, Hrvoje Benko, Andy Wilson
ISS 2017 - ACM International Conference on Interactive Surfaces and Spaces
Session: From Wall Displays to Liquid Matter
Abstract:
MeetAlive combines multiple depth cameras and projectors to create a room-scale omni-directional display surface designed to support collaborative face-to-face group meetings. With MeetAlive, all participants may simultaneously display and share content from their personal laptop wirelessly anywhere in the room. MeetAlive gives each participant complete control over displayed content in the room. This is achieved by a perspective corrected mouse cursor that transcends the boundary of the laptop screen to position, resize, and edit their own and others’ shared content. MeetAlive includes features to replicate content views to ensure that all participants may see the actions of other participants even as they are seated around a conference table. We report on observing six groups of three participants who worked on a collaborative task with minimal assistance. Participants’ feedback highlighted the value of MeetAlive features for multi-user engagement in meetings involving brainstorming and content creation.

Worlds Unleashed and then Connecting - SAGAYA
When a dish is placed on the table, the world contained within the dish is unleashed, unfolding onto the table and into the surrounding space. The worlds unleashed from each dish connect in the external space creating a new larger world. The worlds unleashed are affected by the other dishes on the table.
For example, a bird released from one dish can perch on the branch of a tree unleashed from another. The trees that grow from each dish are not identical; their sizes and shapes are affected by the worlds unleashed by the other dishes on the table. These unleashed worlds are also affected by your behavior. If you stand still, a tiny bird might alight on your hand; if you move suddenly, it might fly away. The worlds unleashed from the dishes on the table influence each other, react to the actions of visitors, and combine to create one single continuous world. The world is constantly changing from moment to moment and no two moments are alike.
What is on the table is observed by artificial intelligence. Therefore, the plates can be arranged on the table however visitors wish.

DeMonz - Interactive Installation for Kids.
Initi built an interactive projection playground, where you can throw balls at virtual characters.
Basically this system allows to make multitouch area on every flat surfaces. Technically it’s combination of motion-tracking and projection-mapping. Main benefits are that there are no limits in a scale of game-stage (it could be 1km long if you want) and no limit how many people can be involved in one moment.
Here is a video from our test installation in Prague. We developed kind of computer game but projected in real scenery. It is mainly dedicated to kids but also adults were involved as players. I have to say they really enjoyed it too! :)
The Demonz is a large-area virtual reality game projected in to reality. The goal is similarly as in the classic czech ball game from childhood “dodgeball“ but instead of hitting live opponents you will try to hit virtual targets in the shape of animated figures or other moving objects. Due to combination of art and programming work was created a unique game pushing you to move and cooperate with the others.
