Finally, third place at Art Vision Classic Contest. Our mix of generative art with classic 3D renderings was performed at facade of "The Bolshoi Theatre" during Circle of Light Festival 23-27 Sep 2017.

Synaesthesia is a kind of sense with which you see colors when you listen to music. In the twentieth century various artists (such as Wassily Kandinsky) translated this into genres called 'silent music' and 'color music'. Here, sound is translated into a form, while colour represents an emotion.

The duo uses this information in ‘STRIPES 5’ and allows people to experience the projections in two ways. From afar, the building appears to be distorted, and from close by one can see the markings of the building and the psychedelic patterns play a greater role.

In the film Close Up, choreographer Alida Dors and film maker Manuel Rodrigues research the tension between accelerating and delaying movement and the power and vitality of stillness. How do you melt these two together?

The film encompasses eight different break-dancers in a modest black and white picture. The choreography is delayed, movement is dissected by time. Each body part is followed and displayed with motion tracking. Both the body’s and the movements determine the choice of imagery. What follows is a detailed and aesthetic display of dance.

EYE not only functions as a projection façade, but its aesthetics contribute to the content which makes dance, architecture and film come together.

he Photosynthesis project — a collaboration between Obscura, Illuminate (instigators of the Bay Lights), and San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers — transforms the Conservatory into an artistic canvas by night. This analog projection system bathes the building in stunning imagery of the flowers and butterflies housed inside, teasing out what hides beneath its whitewashed curtain, catching the eye of passers-by, sparking curiosity and drawing them in through captivating beauty.

ISE 2017 saw Panasonic making an addition to its large venue projector range, with the introduction of the PT-RZ21K. It adds a laser light source companion to the PT-DZ21K, which is Europe's best selling high-brightness projector. RZ21K was incorporated inside the showstopper that really drew the crowds.

Hogwarts Castle gets projection-mapped for Christmas.

This is the Christmas projection mapping show running on the exterior of the Hogwarts Castle, which is the main feature (I think) of the Harry Potter attraction at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando.

It’s a seven-minute show that’s interesting, particularly, for the technical challenge of mapping digital visuals on a canvas that is anything but flat. There are 24 projectors blasting on the castle and castle mount, and the content would need to be mapped to all the different contours and depths. Big job.

A Moment Factory tweet says the Montreal creative shop did the work, along with another agency, LA-based Thinkwell Group.

Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard will be enchanting visitors to Ratchaprasong during the festive season with an electrifying 3D projection on its 60-story tower. The new super-luxury mixed-use development from MQDC has collaborated with the award-winning Limelight group of artists on ‘Beautiful Bangkok’, a ‘building mapping’ spectacular to celebrate the year-end and boost the city’s global profile. EXISDANCE - Real time tracking & Projection mapping.

Born from collaboration between Panasonic and the creative studio P.I.C.S., “EXISDANCE” represents a new step in real-time projection mapping. Japanese Director Hayato Ando teamed up with the Japanese Dancer Kikky (Missy Elliot, World order) and French Engineer Paul Lacroix (OMOTE, Face Hacking). He wanted to express the creation of something originating from the movements of the dance.“EXISDANCE” is a stunning performance revealing the future of live stage projection mapping.

Eight — Multimedia Performance.

Performance “8” is a complete story told on multiple layers with dance, music, video-projection and scenography. Even case study video became a standalone work, shot with a long take during rehearsals. The stage was designed to evolve and transform during the performance. The performance was produced by DreamLaser (dreamlaser.ru/en).
