Play It” – a super-cool immersive soccer experience.



 Are you one of the 1.5 million people who have visited the FC Barcelona store this year (the world-class sporting goods store located conveniently next to the world-famous FCB soccer stadium)? If so, you may need to schedule another trip – because Mood just helped take the soccer shopping experience to a whole new level.

Mood recently had the privilege to partner with FC Barcelona, Nike and the TMT Factory as we teamed up to determine how we could make the customer experience even more unforgettable. The idea was to invite shoppers to experience the thrill of the sport by developing a one-of-a-kind interactive attraction.

The result was “Play It” – a super-cool immersive soccer experience where the participant can play and score goals using a lifesize avatar and virtual soccer ball on a huge 110” acrylic screen. Each player’s movements are detected and reflected onscreen, and at the end of the experience, the participant can scan a QR code to receive and share action shots taken while playing.

In addition to partnering with TMT Factory to develop the concept and digital content, our Mood team in Spain assembled and installed the entire solution. Click HERE to see the “Making of” video, featuring the entire project team in action.

So – the next time you just happen to be on the soccer trip of a lifetime, attending an FCB game in person, and feel like shopping for a few souvenirs, don’t forget to go next door and try out one of the world’s newest interactive soccer attractions.
