Invisible tanks.

British military scientists plan to develop an army of "invisible" tanks ready for use on the battlefield within five years.
Armoured vehicles will use a new technology known as "e-camouflage" which deploys a form "electronic ink" to render a vehicle "invisible".
Highly sophisticated electronic sensors attached to the tank's hull will project images of the surrounding environment back onto the outside of the vehicle enabling it to merge into the landscape and evade attack.
The electronic camouflage will enable the vehicle to blend into the surrounding countryside in much the same way that a squid uses ink to help as a disguise.
Unlike conventional forms of camouflage, the images on the hull would change in concert with the changing environment always insuring that the vehicle remains disguised.
In Helmand, for example, all armoured vehicle have desert sand coloured camouflage, which is of little use in the "Green Zone", an area of cultivation where crops are grown and the Taliban often hide.

Royal Caribbean innovates with kiosks, digital signage.

The newest ship in the Royal Caribbean International cruise line fleet, the Allure of the Seas, integrates self-service, digital signage and other technologies to provide a high-tech customer experience.

The 16-deck ship with nearly 3,000 staterooms offers pervasive Wi-Fi access, with more than 900 Internet access points; self-service customer kiosks that allow voyagers to access their accounts and check-in for their flights home; and award-winning, digital-signage wayfinding stations.

"One of the things that we really wanted to do was to innovate new technologies that will make the guest experience better," RCI senior vice president of hotel operations Lisa Bauer said in this video

Off the planet - Red Bull.

What we’re doing at 9,000 feet on Mammoth
mountain is bringing a new perspective to extreme
sports, by fusing interactive art with riders stylin’
through the air. We’re taking the viewer to untracked
terrain, to our nearby crated friend the moon
overlooking the earth. To achieve this spectacle a
21’ inflatable sphere is hovering between the hits
(more easily achieved on a calm night, but those
things ENESS learn the hard way). Our proprietary
software allows us to map 3d visuals onto the snowy
terrain, the whole site now looks like you’ve landed
in a scene from Tron. Riders are tracked via an
infrared camera as they’re flying through the air
- bam millions of particles are born.

Another technical feat worth mentioning is that our
projectors were 300 feet above the recommended
operating altitude, That’s how we earned our rep.
as extreme projectionists, and Red Bull earned our
respect for allowing us to live the dream.

Old-time skaters ENESS jumped at the chance to bring skateboarding into the future by blending interactivity and high-tech mastery for the Tron Legacy premiere.

Each rider is equipped with an ipod and our custom-built app to measure their air time and trigger graphics whilst in the air and on landing.

A custom ramp was fabricated from steel to support a floating platform.
