On the first day of the Digital Signage Japan 2009 Show (June 10-June 12) held in Makuhari Messe (Chiba, Japan), the Digital Signage Consortium announced that Scala partner Vanten was awarded a PREAWARD for its innovative content "Yodobi Time Announce."
During the remainder of Digital Signage Japan, Scala hosted a number of its partners in its booth showcasing advanced integrated digital signage systems. Also Macnica Networks demonstrated the Tru-media line of audience measurement systems here. Driving more than 300,000 screens worldwide, Scala is a leading global provider of digital signage and advertising management solutions.

Digital Signage Japan 2009 was a big success, attracting 130,993 visitors. Although the event was held simultaneously with Interop 2009 and Internet Media Convergence 2009, it was by all accounts, the busiest of the three expos.
