The Bus-Tops iniative to install LED screens on bus shelters in London, has been given the go-ahead. The project will become part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad run by the Arts Council of England in partnership with London 2012 and the Arts Councils of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
A minimum of 40 LED panels measuring 1.5m by 1m will be installed on the roofs of different bus shelters in the city between 2011 and 2012, and will display art work created by the public.
