Vivitek launches projector with embedded multimedia player.

Vivitek has launched the D863 projector for coroprate and education environments which features an embedded media player to play Microsoft Office documents, photos, videos and audio files without being connected to a PC. Managed through a PC with a USB or network connection (RJ45), the D863 can also wirelessly display contents from a PC/Mac, tablet or smart phone by connecting a WiFi dongle. The D863 offers connectivity options including HDMI, VGA and USB ports, as well as a build-in 10W loudspeaker. It has a lamp life of 6,000 hours in standard mode and for facilitating the daily use, its optical engine is sealed to minimise effect of smoke and dust. The D863 has three years warranty and one year or a maximum of 1,000 hours of lamp warranty (whichever comes first). For education Vivitek offers a 5 year warranty and 3 years lamp warranty or 2000h whatever comes first.
