Mishkat Visitor Centre.

The King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy was commissioned by the current King of Saudi Arabia to encourage, excite and inform the Saudi youth of today about the benefits and innovations of atomic and renewable energies. AllofUs created an experience for the central hall: 3 wave shaped tables, each measuring 7m in length, situated in a 27m long hall with 9 downward facing Kinect cameras & projectors that displayed generative content on the tables. This generative content, rendered in real-time, consists of 4 modes that artistically visualise alternative energies: Solar, Wind, Geo-thermal and Atomic. Each mode intuitively reacts to visitor gestures and presence, revealing factual content bubbles that ebb and flow against the visual energy flow. Ambient LED light strips were used to compliment the visuals. AllofUs created the concept, design and bespoke software for the central hall interactive (LED curtains and tables) and worked alongside Beck Interiors, KCA London, Electrosonic, SI Electrical and LED Curve.
