Tiny projected chef makes your dinner.

A playful video of a tiny projected chef creating a dessert for dinner guests demonstrates the latest conception from Belgian animation studio Skullmapping. The creators map projected content on to a table and plates in a revolutionary form of pre-dinner entertainment that is available for events hosts and restaurants to license in a project called Le Petit Chef.

The artistic collective, run by Antoon Verbeeck and Filip Sterckx, also created content showing the animated chef creating Bouillabaisse and grilling steak and vegetables.

Le Petit Chef is part of Skullmapping’s ‘Mini Mapping’ projects that have seen the collective focus on smaller projections in more intimate settings than the usual projection mapping on large building facades or objects.
